Embracing the ethos, "Preservation of our environment is not a liberal or conservative challenge, it's common sense," and mindful of the pandemic's call for reflection, the priority is adaptive re-use design, minimizing space and material consumption, ensuring sustainable transformations that honour both history and our planet's future. Apart from remodelling the layout of the top southeast corner of the house, most of the interior furniture has been reused and customized, including lighting fixtures selected from the owner’s old collection.
